Since the estate was purchased by insurance providers Generali France in 2007 there has been significant investment and the improvements made can be seen in the significant rise in quality over this period. An opaque core coupled with a dense and compact nose suffused with roasted coffee beans. The plush and juicy palate is laden with black cherries and plums coupled to a weighty mouthfeel with velvet like tannins.
