The 2011 Potensac has classic claret aromas of leather, woody herbs, tobacco and graphite. There's some brambly red fruit and more herbal notes on the palate, with more dried fruit and tea leaves as it develops. There's some grip still but most of the tannins are resolved and ripe on the palate. It finishes with some saline, savoury notes.
