A quarter of the vines at Haut Bailly are a hundred years old, and the estate attributes the consistent elegance of its wines to the unique terroir of the vineyards. The 2011 displays a pleasing perfume of sweet cassis, well-integrated tannins and perfect balance throughout. A truly sophisticated wine indeed.
