2011 Ducru has a wonderful dark ruby hue. Quite reticent at present, this is a feminine, svelte and classy Ducru. Violet, cassis and floral aromas lead into a supple and sophisticated palate. There is a real sense of place about this particularly charming and refined Ducru. Archetypal St-Julien.
