2010 La Dame de Montrose, St-Estèphe
Yet another demonstration of the soaring quality of the second-wines of the top estates. A serious ‘mini-me’ of the Grand Vin - a structured balance of ripe dense, damson-plum flavours which are bright and freshly-styled, along with tightly-grained tannins. A full body and a sense of delicacy combine to give a fine wine in its own right.
