2009 Château Cantenac Brown, Cru Classé Margaux

Cantenac-Brown has been revitalised under its new ownership and this is the finest yet. Very dark and intense in the glass, with notes of black fruits and cassis dominating the nose. Medium bodied, dense and concentrated, with finely woven tannins in the background. Again, a Margaux that is more bold and vibrant than one would expect.
