With scented, almost perfumed fruit of plum and sweet cassis on the nose and a similar nature to the fruit on the palate, this is a highly appealing Haut-Batailley. Soft-textured, just as sister property Grand-Puy-Lacoste, with a supple, forward nature and gently expressed, round tannins in evidence. A very juicy, appealing style that is destined to show well in youth.
