2008 Château Haut-Brion, 1er Cru Pessac-Léognan

2008 Château Haut-Brion, 1er Cru Pessac-Léognan

Restrained, but creamy, nose. Perfumed plum and blackcurrant notes, floral, hints of tobacco leaf. Beautiful balance of fruit, acid and tannin on the palate – creating elegance. Lovely delicacy, yet concentration, of red and blackcurrant fruit, together with mocha and fresh ground-coffee length. Tannins are fine-grained and gently mineral. Robert Parker: 95-97
