Denis Durantou believes 85% to 15% to be the most perfect blend for Merlot and Cabernet Franc and one that he employs in this wine. Deep glossy purple in colour with a black core. Perfumed cherry blossom notes precede a glorious array of dark skinned fruit on the nose with lovely toasted oak notes emerging. The palate is taut and mineral with a core of ripe, dark skinned fruit. With very fine tannins, this is long, juicy, fresh and laden with fruit.
