2007 Château Tronquoy-Lalande, Cru Bourgeois St-Estèphe

Slightly brick red in colour, the nose on this is beautiful, with leather and sous-bois, and plenty of pruney fruit. The palate is medium bodied, with enticing freshness, and a beautifully savoury finish. This is classic Bordeaux, that’s drinking beautifully now.
