2006 Château Roc de Cambes, Côtes de Bourg

Owned by Francois Mitjaville, of the acclaimed St. Emilion property of Tertre Rôteboeuf, Roc de Cambes comprises of fourteen hectares of old vines, which give ripe, complex and concentrated fruit.
This is beautifully sweet and ripe, with an attractively perfumed nose of red cherry and damson. On the palate this is deep and complex, with ripe, dark berry fruit. Very long on the finish. A truly lovely wine and excellent value.
