2006 Château Figeac, 1er Grand Cru Classé St-Emilion

2006 Château Figeac, 1er Grand Cru Classé St-Emilion

A blend of 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Cabernet Franc and 30% Merlot in line with the proportions in the property’s vineyard. A graceful and supremely elegant st-emilion that shies away from the modern style of heavy extraction and firm tannins that one finds so regularly in the region’s wines. A Figéac with evocative grace and layers of compelling flavours from the beginning to its long finish. Very stylish and sophisticated.
