Bright in the glass and deep in hue, the aromas here are pure and perfumed with ripe currant fruit and lead pencil notes. On the palate Carruades is creamy and velvety with fresh, natural berry fruit. Certainly succulent and juicy, this reveals a vibrant ‘red fruit’ acidity and softly expressed tannins. Generous and approachable, the flavours develop well and finish with fine tannins and creamy fruit. A very fine Carruades.
