There is plenty of substance and the wine is linear in style with plenty of firm gravely, yet silky tannins. There is a sense of tautness here - a structured Latour with plenty of potential. Markedly mineral with graphite-like nuances coursing across the palate and acidity which gives it a vibrant nature. A pure and tremendously long Latour, this will demand patience. Sensational, this is yet another great vintage for this property.
