2005 Château Gazin, Pomerol

Tasted no less than five times during April and
impressive on every occasion. A wine that portrays the
Margaux terroir 'to the letter' with its floral character,
vibrance and finesse. Finely honed and precise with
carefully-handled vinification that avoids over-extraction
and manipulation. Since acquiring the estate in 1989,
Hubert Perrado has renovated the château and invested
in the vineyard with resulting improvement and
consistency in the property's wines. A delicious and
expressive 2005 that marries concentration with finesse.
One of the leading crus bourgeois of the 2005 vintage.
