The Giscours renaissance continues with this structured, black cherry and mulberry-flavoured 2005. A Cabernet-dominant margaux (60%) which displays vivid intensity. Grippy tannins in evidence here with mineral notes adding breadth to the profound, flamboyant fruit. Substantial but neither rigid nor aggressive.
