2005 La Dame comprises 54% Cabernet Sauvignon and 46% Merlot. The aromas are fresh, offering ripe, fragrant black cherry and a note of smoke. The palate shows an admirable density of fleshy, layered cherry fruit and good length. Ripe tannic grip here too, indicating an enjoyable wine for the mid-term.
