The aromas here suggest fragrant red fruits, with a currant-leaf quality. The palate is well-proportioned with abundant stone-fruit, and good freshness. The tannins are quite assertive but there is sufficient flesh and volume. A refined Chasse-Spleen, quite natural and unforced in style with a degree of sophistication. Very good indeed.
