Dense in the glass, the restrained aromas hint at blackcurrants seasoned with a little cedar. There is a truly awesome sense of purity too with seamless texture and layer upon layer of creamy fruit - this is not short of either volume or power. The structure and grippy tannins signal the potential for a long-lived wine. Remarkably fine and unusually concentrated, a wine of the vintage.
