2004 Château Bernadotte, Haut-Médoc
Since Bernadotte was purchased by Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande, some serious investment has been undertaken. This, together with the vast experience and enthusiasm of the Pichon team, has transformed the estate and realised the potential of its site and terroir, situated as it is so very close to the Pauillac boundary. The 2004 vintage is a knock-out, a very harmonious style for its level, quite uncomplicated but remarkably well made with a gently expressed tannic grip. A very attractive haut-médoc.
