2004 Château Haut-Bages-Libéral, Cru Classé Pauillac

2004 Château Haut-Bages-Libéral, Cru Classé Pauillac

Good deep colour in the glass, this reveals sweet red berry aromas with cassis and blackberry discernible on the palate. Mouth-filling with very good balance and harmony, this is an expressive style with tell-tale nuances of gravel, currants and cedarwood on the finish. The wine shows a velvety sense of charm with a lush merlot component on the mid-palate. Very good indeed and relatively early drinking.
