With a new team in place since 2017 and a new winery in 2021, we think Troplong are a chateau to watch. Cooler vintages like 2004 really suit Troplong’s sunny spot in St Emilion and now, in 2021, it’s drinking beautifully. Expect mature, smoky, leathery aromas on the nose balanced by soft black fruits. Resolved, soft tannins with rich savoury spices on the palate lead to a long and fresh finish
