Managed by Xavier Borie on behalf of his family, Haut-Batailley has a lovely forest fruit aroma which follows through onto the palate. Well-balanced with good depth and pleasing weight of fruit; this is structured and long. Not a tough, heavy style but beautifully approachable in the glass: a rewarding wine which is destined to give tremendous pleasure.
