Troplong is deep and impenetrable. With skill and experience, fruit and colour have been gently drawn from the Merlot (80% of the assemblage) resulting in finely-expressed tannins and concentrated berry flavours. A substantial wine, this finishes with a flourish, clearly announcing its success in the vintage. A very fine st-émilion indeed.
