The secret to this vintage, as Rauzan's John Kolasa took care to explain, was not solely to take care in the vineyard but also to manage the handling and extraction of the fruit in the winery in a gentle manner. This wine is a lovely example of this philosophy, structured and yet refined, with a delicious sweetness of fruit. An absolutely glorious wine from a château which is performing at a high level.
