2003 Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, Cru Classé St-Julien

2003 Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, Cru Classé St-Julien

Bruno Borie could not have chosen a better year to take over the proprietorship of this great estate hugging the banks of the Gironde. This is a wine of sheer class, focusing on the 80% of Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend. Incredibly dark in colour, this has layers of fruit on the palate with rich fine tannins, a fresh character and pure finesse on the finish. A class act.
