2001 Château Léoville-Las-Cases, Cru Classé St-Julien

Jean-Hubert Delon has only now released 2001 Las Cases, and given the undoubted quality from this near first growth estate, we have to consider the wine to be probably the bargain of the vintage. 2000 Las Cases, also only recently released, is a wine of immense proportion. The 2001 is altogether more sleek and elegant, and may offer equal appeal.
