2000 Château Cos d'Estournel, Cru Classé St-Estèphe

Not since 1996 has the Château made a wine of such calibre. This is a hugely dense wine with strong aromas of plums and cassis. On the palate the wine has fine volume with wonderful flesh and structure. Tannins are apparent but supported well by the overall weight of the fruit.
