Schloss Johannisberg
The first mention of vineyards in the Rheingau at Schloss Johanissberg dates to 817. With their rich history come several firsts, including their decision to grow solely Riesling vines, and to make a late-harvest wine. With thirty-five hectares surrounding the schloss (castle) itself, the property is as stunning as its wines. And, the wines are some of the most powerful of the region, as well as the most age-worthy.
