La Chenade de Denis Durantou

Made by the late Denis Durantou of l’Eglise Clinet fame, La Chenade is made from the tiny 0.5 hectare vineyard just across the road from Les Cruzelles. The same impressive levels of focused care and attention are put into La Chenade, so although the quantities are minute, demand is high for a wine of such calibre. There is more gravelunder the La Chenade vines, and the style differs to Les Cruzelles despite its close proximity. As a result, La Chenade offers an earlier drinking glimpse at superbly made Lalande de Pomerol.
