Nicolas Joly
Nicolas Joly gave up his career as an investment banker to manage his family estate in the 1970s. Soon thereafter he became a groundbreaking proponent of biodynamics, converting the entire property. The estate includes part of the La Roche aux Moines vineyard, and the whole of Coulée De Serrant, Savennières’ most prized terroir. Nicolas’ wines are noted for their concentration and complexity, and the best will age for decades.
