Situated near the top of the Blaauwklippen Valley, where the Helderberg meets Stellenbosch Mountain, Keermont is one of the most beautiful estates we know. It’s been owned by the Wraith family since 2003, and managed by Alex Starey - who grew up at the bottom of the valley - since 2005. Only working with estate grown fruit, these are some of South Africa’s most thrilling - and under-the-radar wines. The Syrahs are world class, but don’t overlook the remarkable Cabernet Franc, Pondokrug, the single vineyard, old vine Chenin Blanc, or the astonishing value, and utterly delicious Terrasse white blend.
