Château Potensac
Potensac is an affordable Cru Bourgeois that consistently impresses with its power and concentration. The estate benefits from the winning combination of expert winemaking and superb location. It is owned by the Delon family who are best known for their super-second powerhouse, Léoville-Las-Cases and sits in a northerly position on excellent gravelly-clay soils on the Potensac plateau. Its 40 hectares of vineyards extend over hilly mounds and there are several old-vine parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc which are up to 80 years old. Two reds are made, Potensac, the Grand Vin, and a second wine, La Chapelle de Potensac.
