Château La Sergue
Château La Sergue has been owned by well-regarded oenologist and consultant, Pascal Chatonnet since 1995. It adds to his collection of three other Bordeaux properties, two in Lalande de Pomerol and another in St-Emilion. Château La Sergue is made from several vineyard plots which total approximately 5 hectares, and blend the best soils of Lalande de Pomerol with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec in a modern and appealing style. Pascal keeps his yields low, deliberately making around 15,000 bottles each year. His style of winemaking is unique, combining heritage with a more modern, scientifically driven approach and as a result he consults across the world, including Vega Sicilia in Spain and Mission Hill in Canada, plus Cos d’Estournel closer to home.
