Château Fuissé
The historic vineyards of Château Fuissé span five appellations, and cover more than 40 hectares of
Chardonnay vines in Southern Burgundy, including Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Veran, Mâcon-Villages, Mâcon-Fuissé and Bourgogne Blanc. Château de Fuissé has been in the hands of the Vincent family since 1862, and now the fifth generation, Antoine, is at the helm, with his brother-in-law Philip Tuinder, previously of Olivier Leflaive. The domaine is responsible for wines of quality and definition, which would not look out of place further north. They have built up an enviable selection of vineyards, with the top sites centred on Fuissé itself, including two premiers crus Le Clos and Les Brûlées. Their wines are harmonious and brilliantly made, with regional typicity and well-pitched weight.
