As English Wine Week gets underway, we invite you to celebrate a viticultural renaissance unfolding on our doorstep. The defining hallmark of English wine is its breathtaking tension—a pristine, cool-climate energy shaped by ancient soils and meticulous craftsmanship. Our sparkling wines, crafted using the traditional method from classic heritage varieties, derive their flinty minerality and razor-sharp elegance from the very same chalk veins that run beneath Kent, Sussex, and Hampshire, easily rivalling the Grand Marques of the continent. Yet, the narrative has evolved far beyond bubbles; England's still wines are staging a quiet revolution of their own. From the vibrant, elderflower-scented intensity of artisanal Bacchus to the precise, mineral-driven Chardonnays and ethereal, cool-climate Pinot Noirs, these bottles offer a masterclass in fruit purity, grace, and terroir-driven expression.

For the discerning collector and enthusiast alike, acquiring English wine is no longer merely a nod to local craftsmanship—it is a pursuit of world-class excellence. These exceptional cuvées are securing their place on the global stage, consistently challenging the historic hierarchies of the wine world in blind tastings and earning a rightful home in serious cellars. By choosing English wine, you are championing pioneering, highly sustainable estates that are actively rewriting the future of modern viticulture, while enjoying a direct, low-carbon journey from sovereign vineyard to glass. This season, we invite you to explore our carefully curated selection of the realm's finest producers and secure a taste of one of the world’s most exciting, rapidly ascending wine regions.

Nyetimber

‘The undisputed pioneer and standard-bearer of world-class English sparkling wine’

Show out of stock items

Located in the historic heart of West Sussex—on an estate with a rich heritage dating back to its original mention in the Domesday Book of 1086—Nyetimber made history in 1988 by becoming the first producer in England to plant the classic Champagne grape varieties: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.

Crafted under the exacting guidance of the acclaimed husband-and-wife winemaking team, Cherie Spriggs and Brad Greatrix, Nyetimber blends state-of-the-art viticulture with time-honoured traditional methods to produce sparkling wines of unparalleled grace, structure, and aging potential. Head Winemaker Cherie Spriggs was the first person outside of Champagne (and the first woman) to be named "Sparkling Winemaker of the Year" by the IWC.

New Hall Vineyards is one of England's oldest wineries, with a rich history of viticulture that dates back to its establishment in 1969.

Situated in the sunny Crouch Valley in Essex, this family-run estate is now in its third generation of the Greenwood family, who pioneered the modern English wine movement. The vineyard benefits from a unique microclimate, with some of the longest hours of sunshine and lowest rainfall in the country, creating the perfect conditions for producing exceptional grapes with naturally high sugars.
