Our first-ever purchase of Rouget in 2005 has guaranteed an allocation of the 2006 vintage. At 17 hectares, Rouget is one of the larger Pomerol estates and is located in the north of the appellation, its neighbours being the four ‘église’ properties. Generously perfumed with bramble and blueberry aromas that are confirmed on the palate, this is pleasingly fresh and vibrant. Recommended.
