Armagnac Wine
From one of France’s gastronomic heartlands, Gascony, Armagnac is the oldest form of French Brandy. Such was the esteem in which it was traditionally held, one 14th century French cardinal claimed that Armagnac had forty different virtues. For us, one virtue is enough: Armagnac’s all-round deliciousness, with its single distillation making it more aromatic and flavourful that its northern cousin, Cognac, which sees two distillations.
