Deep in the glass, with a closed nose of brambly fruit and a touch of smoky minerality. On the palate, this is defined and elegant, with concentrated ripe, dark berry fruit and a subtle mineral nature. The tannins are very fine, giving this a silken texture. Long on the finish, with primary fruit coming through. Excellent.
