This was our last visit of the day and Michel was kind enough to open a bottle of 2002 as an aperitif, what a wine that was and I suspect the 2010 will teurn into something similar. If you were able to combine the best bits of his 1er Cru Chassagne and Pulignys and add 2 or 3 layers you get somewhere close to the Chevalier. Tight and unyielding at the moment this will evolve magnificently in the bottle.
