The pride and joy, stated Manou, when we tasted this wine. The brothers Humbert own half of this two hectare vineyard and their vines average 40 years old. It was wonderful: polished, pure fruit nose showing good freshness. Deep rich, morello cherry, with layers of velvety chocolate notes, then right on the end a little spice, nutmeg and vanilla pod. This is a very expressive wine, stunningly balanced throughout with a real refined composure . It builds up in flavour to a stunning finish.
