2009 Echézeaux Les Loachausses Grand Cru, Anne Gros
Quite closed on the nose initially, but revealing sweet ripe fruit with time. There is a delicate nature to this wine, with the wild strawberry fruit nature having an almost confiture-like character, without being over-ripe. The tannins are evident, but finely realised and there is a dart of minerality that gives this a beautiful sense of balance.
