2008 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Chaumes, Méo-Camuzet

This excellent 1er Cru vineyard lies at the foot of 'La Tâche' and 'Les Malconsorts' and Méo-Camuzet own 2ha in total. It produces supple wines, with real finesse, fullness and charm. An open-knit and highly aromatic nose of liquorice, black cherry and rose leads to a richly textured palate, which has terrific length.
