2008 Marsannay 'Les Longeroies', Denis Mortet
Marsannay was extremely successful in 2008, producing wines to rival those of the more celebrated villages a little further south. This has an intense nose of ripe black fruit and graphite, while the palate is round and structured with violets and spicy new oak (40%). Arnaud Mortet believes in this terroir and this belief, coupled with a 40 hl/ha, has produced a stunning wine.
