Heady on the nose, with aromatic notes of bright hedgerow fruit. The palate shows immediately dense tannins, offsetting layers of subtle oak and dark fruit characters. Compared with some of Cantenac-Brown's recent vintages, this is a more substantial wine, yet freshness on the finish alludes to the potential for greater elegance to come.
