2004 Mas Tortó, Vinyes Velles, DO Montsant, Celler de Capçanes
An outstanding wine from 70 year-old Garnacha vines blended with small proportions of Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for 12 months in French oak. Intense, presenting the sweetness of dark fruits on a taut palate of graphite minerality. Very long with a fine, focused structure.
