Labégorce have produced undoubtedly one of the best Margaux in 2013. With ripe, sweet fruit and glorious floral notes, the nose is simply beautiful. The palate has much riper fruit than most, a lovely texture and good balance. What really makes Labégorce stand out is the length as it shows real persistency, not easily achieved in 2013. The price of this wine belies its excellent quality and for us, it is one of the vintage’s great-value, must buys.
