The famed Vargellas estate provides the base for this excellent 2000 wine supported by the family’s Pinhão property Quinta de Terra Feita. It has a brilliant opaque purple colour with a striking perfume of black cherries. On the palate the wine is broad and full with masses of structure and complex bramble fruit flavours. A wine with plenty of freshness and purity that will age superbly.
