2004 Seña, Chadwick, Aconcagua Valley, Chile

2004 Seña, Chadwick, Aconcagua Valley, Chile

A blend of the four Bordeaux varietals and the typically Chilean Carmenère, this is a wine with great verve and complexity. Aromas of black fruits are mixed with savoury nutmeg and black olive nuances on the enticing nose. The palate is elegant with rich blackcurrant and bramble characters to the fore, with subtle hints of violet florality and a hint of oak inspired caramel, and a long lingering finish. A truly beautiful wine.
