2016 Cabernet Franc 'Breton', Lukas van Loggerenberg

2016 Cabernet Franc 'Breton', Lukas van Loggerenberg

This Cabernet Franc is classically styled, and show’s Lukas’s love of elegant, drinkable wines. There’s notes of violets and mulberries, with just a hint of bell-pepper adding complexity.

Tasting notes

Breton is the Loire name for Cabernet Franc and this wine is very much French-inspired. Sourced from the Polkadraai Hills, it’s a serious, grippy, lower alcohol style that’s fresh, focused and very pure, with bramble and cassis notes and taut acidity.
